We left
Argentina on December 1st to begin our three-month deputation tour. During our
time in the United States, we were to visit churches and tell them about what
the church is doing in South America. We were also to be raising funds that
will be used for our ministry upon return to Argentina. We had only three
confirmed churches and were a little worried about our time in the United
States, because three churches in three months seemed like very little to us.
But in faith, we went ahead and bought little mate cups to give to the churches
and what seemed like enough dulce de leche to make alfajores (Argentinian
sandwich cookies) for each of the churches we hoped we would visit.

God was
faithful, as He always is! We visited 17 churches and made 23 presentations in
four states during the three months of our deputation tour. Two of our
presentations were in classes at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany,
Oklahoma. Final calculations have not
been made, but it appears that we will reach what seemed like an impossible
fundraising goal. We will use the money that we raised mostly to finish
purchasing our car, and then for necessary visa trips every 90 days, Wilmar’s
ministerial studies, a few appliances/furnishings, and a printer.
We had a
great time visiting churches and meeting people. Our boys did a great job
traveling and adapting to so many new settings. We also had the privilege of
having Jessica’s parents along with us for almost all of our trips to visit
churches, which made our time even more special, and was a big help with Israel
and Caleb as we presented. We thank them for this!

It was fun
to see how different churches minister in different ways and are effective at
reaching those in their community. One of the most exciting parts of giving our
presentation was when we got to hear that God had used our message to confirm
something that He had already been speaking to that church about. This happened
often and we know that God was using us to speak to His church.
“For we do
not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants
for Jesus’ sake…But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that his all
surpassing power is from God and not from us.” Romans 4: 5,7

more about our involvement in this area.
-Praise
report: We found a daycare for Caleb that is close to our house and very nice.
We praise God for His provision of the funds to pay his monthly tuition through
one of our donors!

-Praise report:
We had quite a bit of luggage on the way back to Argentina, and extra baggage
on airplanes has become very costly. Jessica began praying that a miracle would
happen and that we wouldn’t have to pay the entire amount of fees. God worked
the miracle and we only ended up paying for a couple of extra bags, instead of
six extra bags! It was an absolute miracle!

-Praise
report: For years now our oldest son, Israel, has suffered from breathing
problems at night due to enlarged tonsils. We have been praying for divine
intervention on his behalf in this area. It has been about a month now that we
have noticed that he no longer has trouble breathing at night! Praise God for
His hand at work upon our little one.
We rely upon
your prayers on our behalf. We know that God is at work in our lives, and it is
our privilege to be able to share some of the good things He is doing! Thank
you again for your support of our ministry in the Southern Cone. May God bless

Salimos de Argentina el 1 de
Diciembre rumbo a Estados Unidos para hacer nuestra gira de Deputación. Durante
ese tiempo allá, visitamos algunas de las iglesias para promover el campo
misionero y para compartir lo que hemos estado haciendo en Sur América. También
estábamos promoviendo fondos para nuestro ministerio en los próximos dos años
de servicio en ese continente.
Cuando salimos solo teníamos tres
iglesias confirmadas, cosa que nos preocupaba un poco ya que pasaríamos tres
meses allá y solo teníamos tres iglesias lo cual seria muy poco para nuestra
agenda. Pero en fe, compramos 20 copas para servir mate (como suvenir) para
dejar en las iglesias visitadas, una buena cantidad de dulce de leche para
hacer alfajores (un antojo) y compartir un gusto argentino.

¡Dios siempre fiel! Durante los tres
meses viajamos por cuatro estados y visitamos 17 iglesias, hicimos 23
presentaciones- dos de estas en dos clases en la Universidad Nazarena en
Oklahoma. No tenemos el resultado de nuestros fondos promovidos, pero tal parece
que nuestra meta aparentemente imposible, la hemos alcanzado. Este dinero será
invertido en el pago final de nuestro carro, renuevo de visas (cada 90 días),
estudios ministeriales y enseres domésticos y de oficina.
Fue toda una experiencia, visitando iglesias,
conociendo nuevos rostros… nuestros chicos se portaron de maravilla, tanto
mientras viajamos como acomodándose a los diferentes ambientes expuestos. En
nuestros viajes tuvimos el privilegio de viajar con mis suegros (Jerry y Jane)
y tenerlos con nosotros casi en toda nuestra gira. Ellos nos apoyaron mucho con
la supervisión de nuestros hijos mientras nosotros hacíamos nuestra
presentación. A ellos muchas gracias.
Fue interesante ver como diferentes
iglesias, en su propio estilo, ministraban en pro del alcance de su comunidad
para Cristo.

Una de las cosas que nos impresionó,
fue escuchar que nuestra presentación confirmaba lo que Dios ya había o estaba
poniendo en el corazón del liderazgo. Gracias por hacernos saber que Dios usó
nuestra boca para hablarles a ustedes.
“No nos predicamos a nosotros
mismos, sino a Jesucristo como Señor, y a nosotros como vuestros siervos por
amor de Jesús. Pero tenemos este tesoro en vasos de barro, para que la
excelencia del poder sea de Dios y no de nosotros…” II Co. 4:5,7.

- Nuestra
(de los cuatros) readaptación al país.
- Salud:
pronto vendrá otro invierno (No hemos tenido un verano desde el 2010)
- Nuestra
familia: Es USA y Nicaragua
- La
plantación de una iglesia en el distrito Oeste de Buenos Aires. Les
mantendremos informados a la medida que nos vayamos involucrando en esta tarea.

- Agradecimiento:
Encontramos un jardín maternal para Caleb que está muy lindo y cerca a nuestra
casa. Adoramos a Dios por su provisión monetaria en esta causa.

- Agradecimiento:
Regresamos a Argentina con otro montón de maletas (12) lo que significa un
costo extra en nuestros boletos. Jessica oró por un milagro en este asunto.
¡Dios obró milagrosamente! Pagamos solo la mitad.
- Agradecimiento:
Por varios años nuestro hijo Mayor ha batallado con su respiración (apnea)
mientras duerme debido a que tiene amígdalas bien grandes; pero hemos venido
orando y declarando un milagro en su vida, desde hace un mes, hemos notado que
ya no tiene este problema y está respirando normal. ¡Alabado se nuestro Jehová
Jireh!

Gracias por levantarnos en oración.
Sabemos que Dios está trabajando en nuestras vidas y es un privilegio poder
compartir lo bueno que Él ha sido con nosotros. Gracias por su apoyo a nuestro ministerio.
